CCRM COVID-19 Response

Thanks to your partnership, we will continue to provide services to men, women and children in our community throughout this situation. As businesses and places of employment close in our area, we are expecting more people to come to us for help.

The health and well-being of our clients, staff, volunteers, and visitors are very important to us. We are committed to being responsive to their needs as this ever-changing situation evolves.

We would like to make you aware of a few precautions we are taking…

As of March 23, 2020

In response to the CDC guidelines, we have implemented the following (not an exhaustive list):

  1. Volunteering – Currently, we are cautiously allowing volunteers.  We ask that all volunteers carefully consider their own health situation before volunteering. If you are feeling sick or are high-risk, please do not volunteer.
  2. Sterilization – We have set up hand sanitizing stations throughout the Mission and have gloves available to staff and volunteers where needed. And our maintenance and custodial department have ramped up their cleaning and disinfecting efforts.
  3. Social Distancing – In each of our departments and programs, we have taken precautions to best ensure that guests have ample distance between them.

With more people looking to us for help, extra gifts are critical and will provide immediate help during this difficult time.

  • Hand sanitizer, bleach, masks, gloves
  • Peanut butter & jelly
  • Loaves of bread
  • Bags of sugar/rice
  • Bagged or canned beans (kidney/black)

And, as always, please PRAY for the Rescue Mission, businesses, individuals
and all those affected by COVID-19, both near and far.
