Emergency Relief
Most people know we provide meals and shelter. But Capital City Rescue Mission offers a comprehensive continuum of care that addresses body, mind, and spirit. We meet people at their most desperate and stay with them through recovery, job training, and independent living. Every program is free. Every program is Christ-centered.

Meals
We serve 900 nutritious meals daily to homeless guests and neighbors. For many, a hot meal is the first point of contact for deeper help and lasting transformation.
Emergency Shelter
Men receive up to 40-night stays in our 60-bed dorm with overflow capacity. Women find safety in our dedicated 12-bed shelter. Both include showers, meals, and connection to comprehensive services.
Clothing Distribution
We distribute 6,000 items weekly—clothing, shoes, and household necessities—helping people maintain dignity while meeting essential needs at no cost.
Medical Clinic
Licensed healthcare professionals provide free primary care, medications, and specialty appointments for uninsured individuals. Open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Christ-centered pathways from addiction to new life.
New Life Program for Men
A free nine-month residential program combining pastoral counseling, Bible study, recovery groups, life skills, and job placement. Men overcome addiction and rebuild their lives through the power of Christ.
New Faith Program for Women
A year-long residential program for women and their children addressing addiction, trauma, and abuse. Safe apartment-style housing, counseling, parenting support, and spiritual growth.
Transitional Living
Forty-three studio apartments provide stable housing for employed graduates. Residents save money, maintain sobriety, and transition to permanent independence with ongoing support.
Celebrate Recovery
Friday night meetings provide a safe, confidential environment for anyone exploring healing through a growing relationship with God and others who share similar experiences.
Building skills and faith for lasting success.
Learning Center
GED preparation, computer literacy, resume assistance, and employment support help guests gain the skills needed for stable work and self-sufficiency.
Chapel Services
We hold chapel every single day—one of the only missions in America that still does. Speakers from 200 partner churches share the hope of Jesus Christ with over 40,000 people annually.
Work Readiness
Guests needing extended stays can volunteer around campus, learning job skills while working toward permanent housing and employment.
