Capital City Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry that brings God’s love to the lost, homeless and hurting in our community. Donor Relations Associate – FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT (posted 12/11/2024)

This is the right fit for a career-oriented professional to work in a Christian ministry that brings God’s love to the lost and hurting in our community. We are looking for a professional, organized, enthusiastic Donor Relations Associate who is a college graduate with a 2 or 4-year degree.

Duties:

• Identify and cultivate new large donors and continue to grow relationships with current donors
• Identify/develop new corporate and individual sponsors for annual events (Fall Banquet & Hearts of Hope) as well as maintain current sponsor relationships
• Represent CCRM at outside functions as appropriate
• Prepare private grant applications
• Update printed publications as well as digital (i.e. social media, website)
• Assist Development Director in other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• A 2 or 4-year degree from an accredited college or equivalent is desired
• Attentive to detail and accurate in written and verbal communications
• Comfortable with phone communications and in-person visitation
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft and Google programs
• Experience with social media and basic website updates is desired
• Experience with donor database systems (i.e. Raiser’s Edge/DonorPerfect) or capacity to learn such systems.
